– Lemongrass – Pure Herbal Tea –
Lemon Grass is especially known around Mediterranean, where it grows in wilderness, but is also very welcome in the gardens or windowsills not only being beautifully aromatic and repelling mosquitoes.
Dried and chopped leaves of Lemongrass are a significant part of many cuisines, but they can be brewed as tea for many beneficial purposes.
Many wonderful essential oils are concentrated and encapsulated in the leaves when drying, making a drink relaxing just by its smell. The brew is said to have antidepressant properties and mood lifting effects. It can also sharpen our focus and ability to withstand prolonged mental stress and fatigue. All of those benefits are completed by its immune system boosting abilities, anti-oxidant effect and possibility to prevent certain traits of cancer.
