It comes from the Wuyi region of Fujian province in China. “Souchong” refers to the fourth and fifth leavesfrom the top
of the tea plant, which are fermented until they reach a distinctly black colour.
Lapsang Souchong is a result of smoke-drying in pine or cedar smoke, which changes the taste and aroma.
It is considered to be a manly tea due to its very strong and distinct flavor – is sometimes compared to whiskey and Cuban cigars.

Brew using water just after boiling and leave to infuse for
2-3 min. (stimulates),or 4-5 min. (relaxes), then separate the leaves from the infusion.
