Organic Kukicha tea is one of the most unique Chinese green teas. “Kuki” means stem, it consists not only of leaves, but mostly young stalks (along with tea buds). The infusion is characterized by a light green color; with a refreshing, mild flavor with a delicate hint of floral aroma. Stalks contain negligible amounts of tannins and caffeine. It has a calming effect, is a powerful antioxidant and has alkalizing properties.
-Use water with temperature around 60-70°C and 1 tsp of tea per cup
– Leave to infuse for 2-3 min.
-Separate the leaves from the infusion.
-If you wish you can brew it up to 3 times (it’s advised to infuse a bit longer with every brew).
