Our shop will supply you in self-roasted 100% Arabica coffee beans from Fairtrade plantations, ranging in places such as Cuba, Kenya, Nicaragua, Brazil, Jamaica and Ethiopia.And if you like things out of the box, try our flavoured coffees with beautiful scents of oranges, cinnamon, chocolate, cherry, coconut, caramel, rum or Irish Whiskey. Of course, there’s many more of them to choose from!

All of our coffees are self-roasted. We see the potential in every bean and always come up with a roast profile to match, bringing out the coffee’s unique aromas and flavours. Our coffee beans are roasted by applying uniformly dispersed heat in a variable manner over an adjustable time frame. This is called the roast profile. Each coffee has a different roast profile with sub-profiles for different degrees of roast. The profiles must be constantly modified to neutralize changes in the ambient temperature and humidity, as well as to counter-balance the natural changes in green coffee as it ages. Our Roastmaster possesses technical skills combined with an artisan’s touch – as correctly roasted coffee brings all of the cup characteristics into balance and optimizes the individual taste characteristics that reveal a coffee’s singular personality. We also make our own blends. The one called ”Café C” is now getting famous by being served at our café at Leeds Kirkgate Market.

Freshness has a huge impact on flavour, that’s why all our coffees are packed straight after the roasting and cooling proccess and ready to be sold whithin 24 hours of roasting.

We sell whole coffee beans but don’t worry if you like to buy ground coffee – we’ll grind your coffee beans precisely for your coffee machine.

Our variety of herbs, herbal blends and 100% pure and natural honey will provide you a healthy equivalent of supplements and artificial medicines. You will be surprised, how natural methods can help you stay healthy and fight infections. Depending on the pollen gathered by bees, different types of honey help with hay fever, support your immune system and help with colds. We also own of a few beehives at a private and ecologic set of beehives in Mielec – South Poland which is a non-industrial area, placed in Bieszczady Mountains so our honey comes from the clearest and most ecologic area you can image! We’re Teapot – Tea or Coffee Ltd. (Registered company No. 9776658, VAT No. GB207147235) – a tea & coffee company, established in 2010.

We’ve introduced our self-roasted coffee beans and a variety of high quality loose leaf tea to the community of Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK by opening a little shop at Leeds Kirkgate Market in 2014. Our Customers started to love our products straight away and the shop became famous. ”Teapot – Tea or Coffee Ltd.” received Leeds City Council Market Service Award in the category of ”Best Start-Up” 2014 and became The Leeds Market Trader of The Year Finalist, chosen by public votes. In December 2016 Teapot has received another award by taking 1st place for ”The Best 2016 Dressed Christmas Stall”, again – chosen by public votes. We’ve also received a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating from the Food Standards Agency.

Teapot is a small tea room with big ambitions. Led by a team of young souls in love with tea and travel, we scour the globe to find the best and most exciting tea leaves. Our collection of more than 100 teas, ranges from pure, powerful Ceylon & Yunnan, amazing fruity fusions, to the rarest wild tea and distinctive signature blends. Even though we travel far and wide to bring you tea, we believe in keeping things small and intensely local. All of our teas are hand-picked and treated with care.

We’ve been doing this day-in day-out for just over 7 years. In 2016, we moved our stall to the new Food Hall at Leeds Kirkgate Market and gifted ourselves our first ever independent café and we’re getting busier and busier each day by serving delicious organic & natural teas, cafe latte, americano, espresso, delicious hot belgian chocolate and cakes, also selling kilograms of top quality loose tea leaves and freshly self-roasted coffee beans, organic coffee from Fairtrade & SPP Plantations, 100% pure and natural honey, herbs and accessorries. Here we make custom blends, brew tea at optimum temperatures and serve it how it should be served – in the company of good people and inside nice cups.
