– Catechins, a type of Polyphenol, are highly beneficial and found abundantly in green tea and other teas.
– The most effective Catechins, discovered so far, include epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and epigallocatechin (EGC). Research by Kuzushige Kawai, MD, and colleagues from the University of Tokyo reports that EGCG blocks the HIV (AIDS virus) envelope.
